Our philosophy: growth, education, and a nonjudgmental space

At New York HRT, our philosophy is grounded in the belief that all of us are constantly growing and evolving. Health is not a straight line, and improvement doesn’t happen through shame, pressure, or cookie‑cutter advice. It happens through clarity, consistency, and support.

We aim to create an environment where people can learn in a nonjudgmental, supportive setting. That means you’ll never be rushed, dismissed, or made to feel uncomfortable asking questions. We take time to explain the “why” behind recommendations because when you understand your options, you’re more likely to follow through and see real, lasting results.

We also believe learning goes both ways. Every patient brings their own experiences, challenges, and insights. When those are respected and valued, it creates a stronger care experience, one where people feel empowered, not dependent; educated, not overwhelmed; and supported, not judged.

Daniel Bucklaew, MS, FNP-C

Daniel Bucklaew, MS, FNPC is a boardcertified Family Nurse Practitioner and the clinical provider at New York HRT, serving patients across Western New York through telehealth. With more than a decade of healthcare experience spanning cardiology, urology, and emergency medicine, Dan brings a wellrounded clinical perspective to men’s and women’s health. He focuses on helping patients feel better day to day, improving energy, mood, confidence, performance, sleep, and overall quality of life.

At New York HRT, Daniel provides individualized, evidencebased evaluation and treatment in areas such as testosterone optimization (TRT), medical weight loss, erectile dysfunction (ED) evaluation and treatment, metabolic and hormonal health, and peptide therapy when appropriate. His process is thorough and patientcentered: it starts with listening, then moves to a careful review of symptoms, medical history, medications, lifestyle factors, and goals. He uses targeted lab work to identify underlying contributors and to guide safe, thoughtful treatment plans with appropriate followup and monitoring.

Dan’s philosophy is that effective care goes beyond “treating a number.” He prioritizes education and shared decisionmaking so patients understand what’s happening in their bodies, what options are available, and what to expect from treatment. The aim is sustainable progress, helping patients build a plan they can realistically maintain and feel confident about over time.

Whether you’re looking for symptom support, metabolic guidance, or a steadier path forward, Dan is here to help you feel stronger, more confident, and more at home in your body.

Christine Giangreco, Treatment Coordinator, Nutrition Specialist

I'm Christine Giangreco, Treatment Coordinator and Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach at New York HRT in Victor, NY. I’m here for women and individuals who are moving through perimenopause, menopause, and the body changes that can come with that and who want support that feels both knowledgeable and truly human.

Menopause isn’t “just something you have to push through.” For many people it affects energy, sleep, mood, weight, confidence, and sexual well-being and it can be frustrating when symptoms are minimized or brushed off. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported, with clear next steps and a plan that fits your real life.

My approach blends practical strategy with compassionate coaching. I earned my MBA from the University of Rochester and continued my education at Harvard Medical School in Nutrition and Lifestyle coaching.  I use that background to translate the noise and confusion into simple, doable routines so you can feel secure and knowledgeable about the decisions you are making.

I also work closely with clients who are using GLP-1 medications. These tools can be incredibly helpful, and they work best when paired with supportive nutrition and lifestyle habits like protecting lean muscle, prioritizing protein and nutrient dense foods, supporting digestion, and making sure the changes you’re making are sustainable long-term.

Whether you’re looking for symptom support, metabolic guidance, or a steadier path forward, I’m here to help you feel stronger, more confident, and more at home in your body.
